  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions, for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Teriyaki Marinade

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.

Step 2: Marinate the Salmon

  1. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the teriyaki marinade over them.
  2. Ensure the salmon is coated evenly with the marinade.
  3. Allow the salmon to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more intense flavor.

Step 3: Preheat and Prepare the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly grease the air fryer basket or use a piece of parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Step 4: Air Fry the Salmon

  1. Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade and place them in the air fryer basket, skin-side down.
  2. Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  3. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the salmon during the last few minutes of cooking for added texture and flavor.

Step 5: Serve and Garnish

  1. Carefully remove the cooked salmon from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving platter.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions for a vibrant touch.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
